Safety & Compliance

In the world of luxury adventure travel, safety is the ultimate luxury. At Raja Ampat Freedive Society, the well-being of our clients and staff is our absolute, non-negotiable priority. As a division of Juara Holding Group, we operate with a level of professionalism, regulatory compliance, and safety protocol that is unmatched in the region. Our commitment is not just a promise; it is a system of verifiable checks, certifications, and standards that govern every aspect of our operations.

Corporate & Regulatory Compliance

We are a fully licensed and compliant Indonesian entity, adhering to all national and regional regulations.

  • Business License (SIUP): We operate under the official tourism business license (Surat Izin Usaha Pariwisata – SIUP) held by our parent company, Juara Holding Group, issued by the Kementerian Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif.
  • Tax Compliance (NPWP): Our company maintains a registered Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) and is fully compliant with all Indonesian tax regulations.
  • Employee Welfare (BPJS): All of our Indonesian employees are registered for national social security (BPJS Ketenagakerjaan) and healthcare (BPJS Kesehatan), ensuring their well-being and legal protection.
  • Industry Associations: We are an active member of the Association of The Indonesian Tours and Travel Agencies (ASITA), adhering to its code of ethics and professional standards.

Freediving Safety Protocols

Our safety standards are designed specifically for the unique demands of freediving and exceed general dive industry norms.

  • Certified Professional Guides: Every trip is led by an internationally certified and insured freediving instructor (AIDA, PADI, or Molchanovs) with current Emergency First Response (EFR) or equivalent first aid/CPR certification.
  • Advanced Medical Equipment: All partner vessels are equipped with DAN-compliant emergency oxygen kits, Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), and comprehensive trauma kits.
  • Strict Safety Procedures: We enforce a strict buddy system, use of lanyards for depth training, and conservative dive planning. Our guide-to-guest ratio never exceeds 1:3 in the water.
  • Emergency Action Plan (EAP): We have a robust, pre-vetted EAP for every location, including communication protocols with our 24/7 on-shore support team, contact information for the nearest hyperbaric chamber, and a direct partnership with International SOS for medical evacuation.

Maritime & Aviation Compliance

We ensure that our partners in the sea and air meet the highest safety benchmarks.

  • Vessel Seaworthiness: All partner vessels are legally registered in Indonesia and hold a valid Surat Persetujuan Berlayar (Port Clearance) for every voyage. They undergo regular inspections by the Directorate General of Sea Transportation.
  • Certified Crew: All captains and key crew members hold the required professional certifications and a valid Buku Pelaut (Seaman’s Book).
  • Aviation Partnerships: We partner with IATA-compliant airlines like Garuda Indonesia and reputable private charter companies that have impeccable safety records and adhere to all AirNav Indonesia regulations.

Quality Management Systems

Our commitment to safety is embedded in our corporate culture and management systems.

  • ISO 9001 Framework: Juara Holding Group is implementing an ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System to ensure consistency, continual improvement, and a systematic approach to risk management across all operations.
  • Regular Audits: Our safety protocols and partner compliance are subject to rigorous annual audits, as detailed in Our Methodology, ensuring our standards are not just written down, but actively practiced.
